If you cycle tour solo across Ukraine you're living on the edge. Because Ukraine has undergone more
stress as a nation than any other that I know of and not everyone there is committed to solving their problems legally.
That said, my two weeks in Ukraine was problem free and the locals were kind, generous
and friendly. One guy in particular, Oleg, gave me a ride for fifty miles and then spent hours finding free lodging
for me in Odessa.
